JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Planning: Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project stakeholders and Business Heads. Design Oversight: Review and approve civil engineering designs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and industry standards. Procurement: Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and subcontractors needed for construction projects. Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to ensure that project milestones are met on time and within budget. This includes managing personnel, equipment, and materials. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets specified standards and complies with relevant regulations and codes. Safety Compliance: Oversee safety programs and ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with applicable safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries. Business Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Heads & the concerned stakeholder in regards to their construction work, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring Business satisfaction. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse impacts. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and financial records, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and disputes that may arise during the course of the project, working to find mutually acceptable solutions and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders. Financial Management: Monitor project finances closely, tracking expenses, managing budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of the project comply with relevant laws, regulations, and permits, obtaining necessary approvals as required. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :Accounts & Finance, Vendor/Suppliers ,Administration & any Regulatory Authorities. Skills: Prior experience in dealing with contractor,Civil Construction Labour and Suppliers. Proficiency in civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, geo technical engineering, and construction materials. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets and resources, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Basic understanding of business principles, including budgeting, financial analysis, and contract management, to effectively manage project finances and resources.. Should be proficient in MS Office, Power Point, Excel etc.. Should be confident, result oriented and well under pressure. Should have a go getter attitude
