Civil Engineering Intern

As a Trainee Civil Engineering Intern at Tech MSEngineers, you will be an integral part of our international projects CAD team, focusing on preparing detailed structural drawings for projects involving precast concrete, reinforced concrete (RCC), and steel structures. Your role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in international structural drafting and detailing while being guided by our senior engineering team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare precise 2D structural drawings, plans, sections, and details using AutoCAD. - Develop detailed drawings for Precast Concrete, Reinforced Concrete (RCC), and Steel structures for international projects. - Collaborate with senior engineers to interpret project requirements and convert engineering sketches into formal drawings compliant with international standards. - Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and relevant industry codes (including ACI, AISC, Eurocode, and other international standards). - Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the engineering and project management teams. - Maintain a systematic organization of project drawing files and related documentation. - Assist in creating shop drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and reinforcement detailing as per project specifications. **Required Qualifications and Skills:** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering. - Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential). - Solid understanding of fundamental civil and structural engineering principles. - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. - Ability to read and interpret technical sketches and engineering drawings. - A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn and adapt. - Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. **Preferred Qualifications (A significant plus):** - Familiarity with international design codes such as ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes. - Knowledge of 3D modeling in AutoCAD or experience with software like Revit Structure or Tekla Structures. - Basic understanding of structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, RISA-3D). - Prior internship experience or academic projects related to structural drafting.
