Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare
detailed AutoCAD drawings
, including
shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings
.
Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination and execution.
Extract
quantities from drawings
for estimation and BOQ preparation in coordination with the QS team.
Ensure all drawings adhere to
project standards, specifications, and authority requirements
.
Update revisions and maintain proper drawing registers and document control.
Work closely with engineers, architects, and site teams for design clarifications.
Assist in preparing
layout plans, reinforcement detailing, and sectional details
where required.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
or equivalent.
2-6 years
of experience in drafting for civil / structural / architectural projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred)
.
Basic knowledge of
Quantity Surveying / Estimation
.
Understanding of
construction drawings, structural detailing, and RCC components
.
Familiar with
IS Codes
and standard drawing practices.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
