Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibility

Activities:

1.Design loads, RCC Structural Design with field validation & Value Engineering

1) Perform wind turbine foundation loads review and conduct structural design calculations by developing MS excel design sheets and utilize design tools (Dubal RFEM, STAAD, Ansys) for modelling & calculations including generation of design reports.
2) Proof Checking of customer design and repair/retrofit design solutions of existing RCC structures by working closely with engineering team & CAD technicians to deliver innovative and efficient designs to meet the projects & OMS needs. 3) Develop new optimized RCC designs with innovative approach to contribute to value engineering drive. 4) Jointly work with loads team to prepare documentation for foundation loads, design certification from European & Indian agencies & technical resolution of customers queries.

2.Geo-structural design

1) Understanding the geotechnical requirements on critical site-specific conditions at locations for foundation construction and able to collect required inputs for the ground improvement & structure design.
2) Design of pile foundations (example: monopiles, Bored cast in situ/precast driven piles). 3) Create various site-specific foundation designs. 4) Work in close coordination, collaborate with colleagues, and lead engineers to develop engineering solutions for end clients that meet the project scope and associated technical constraints.

3.RCC & geotechnical Solutions, execution challenges & testing validation at site

1) Site visit for validation of given structure & geotechnical design .
2) Construction engineering support and procedure documentation

4.Team Management, Team building & competency development

1) Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices in design.
2)Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. 3) Foster collaboration within the team and with other departments like project management and operations. 4) Identify training needs and develop technical skills within the team.
