You are an exceptionally skilled and experienced Lead Plant3D Modeler who will be responsible for overseeing the creation and management of detailed 3D models of industrial plants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Collaborating with project teams, you will lead the development and maintenance of these models using Autodesk Plant3D. In this role, you will also perform clash detection, resolve conflicts within the models, and generate construction documents from the 3D models including plans, sections, and details. Additionally, you will coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated and accurate models, provide technical support and guidance to junior modelers, review and validate models for accuracy and completeness, and participate in project meetings offering input on modeling-related issues. Mentoring and training junior modelers to foster continuous learning and improvement will also be part of your responsibilities. Your knowledge should include Water/Wastewater treatment processes and the function of units, Navisworks Manage clash detection, vessel/valve data sheet, standard pressure vessels, pumps, blowers, various types of valves and instruments, pipe supports, pipe material specifications, and standards. Familiarity with Point Cloud, Civil 3D, REVIT MEP, and integrating with other BIM software such as Civil 3D, Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Auto Plant 3D is advantageous. You should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, attend client coordination and review meetings, and implement safety and quality aspects into design.
