Teach physics concepts including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, and modern physics. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to accommodate different learning styles. Prepare students for standardized assessments and/or AP/IB Physics exams (if applicable). Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement. Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through assignments, labs, projects, and exams. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians. Collaborate with other science faculty and school staff to support interdisciplinary learning. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or related field. State teaching certification in Physics (Grades 9–12) or eligibility to obtain certification. Preferred: Master’s degree in Physics or Education. Experience teaching high school Physics, including AP or IB courses. Familiarity with NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) or other relevant standards. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
