Cisco Viptela (SDWAN) Admin

As an experienced Cisco Viptela (SD-WAN) Administrator at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing enterprise-scale SD-WAN solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, deploying, and managing Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) environments to ensure stability, scalability, and performance. - Managing and configuring routing and switching technologies such as IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, and VLAN. - Deploying and managing Cisco SDA (Wired/Wireless infrastructure) using Cisco DNA Center. - Implementing and troubleshooting VxLAN, LISP, and related overlay technologies. - Utilizing Python, Ansible, and REST APIs for network automation and configuration management. - Validating technology designs, software releases, and Cisco solutions for customer projects to ensure optimal performance. - Building and testing customer simulation environments in lab setups to troubleshoot complex issues and validate compatibility. - Developing and executing test cases and scripts based on customer test environments and project requirements. - Identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with development teams, and driving timely issue resolution. - Creating and maintaining technical documentation, design recommendations, and knowledge transfer materials. - Supporting Professional Services goals and ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and processes. - Acting as an individual contributor and collaborating with global teams and clients to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise should include: - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN Architecture, Components, and Roles. - Proficiency in Enterprise Routing and familiarity with Service Provider Layer 2 & Layer 3 VPN Services. - Experience with Cisco ISR1K/4K, ASR1K, Cat8K, and vEdge platforms. - Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and switching technologies (STP, HSRP, VRRP, VLAN, EtherChannel, Stack, etc.). - Hands-on experience with various SD-WAN features like ZTP, Plug-and-Play, TLOC & Colors, OMP, BFD, NAT Types, TLOC Extension, etc. - Knowledge of automation scripting, network validation tools, and traffic generators. - Proficiency in creating test setups, performance analysis, and network documentation. - Familiarity with Multi-Region Fabric, Cloud OnRamp, ThousandEyes, and IOS-XE Security. Qualifications required: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Cisco Certifications highly desired: CCIE, CCNP (Enterprise, Security, or SD-WAN specialization).
