Role Overview: As a Senior Network Engineer with 8-12 years of experience specializing in Enterprise Routing and Switching, your main focus will be on maintaining and troubleshooting network hardware, firewall, and routing and switching technologies. You will be responsible for configuring and installing various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. Your expertise in network protocols and applications like RADIUS, SNMP, TACACS, DNS, DHCP, IPSec, NAT, and ACLs will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and install network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. - Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues. - Design, implement, and maintain Cisco firewall rules to protect the enterprise network infrastructure. - Configure and optimize firewall policies for secure and efficient traffic flow. - Monitor firewall performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability. - Conduct regular firewall rule audits to identify and remediate potential security vulnerabilities. - Implement advanced security features like VPN, NAT, and IDS/IPS on Cisco firewalls. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer. - Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent documentation abilities. - In-depth knowledge of network protocols and applications. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with network technologies such as Proxies (Blue Coat), Cisco ISE, Infoblox, Load Balancer (F5), Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA. Additional Company Details: This is a long-term contract position based in Columbus, MS, with an hourly rate of $60 on C2C basis.
