SUMMARY Title: Network Specialist (Cisco Routing & Switching) Requirement: Assessment and implementation of Cisco switches and access points for office/branch sites Experience: 6+ years Location: Hyderabad/Pune Requirement: 4+ years of relevant experience in the Network infrastructure domain. *Minimum 2 years proven experience with Cisco LAN deployments and configurations. *Minimum 2 years proven experience with assessing, documenting, and migrating LAN/WLAN infrastructures in enterprise environments. *Minimum 2 years proven skills in creating network diagrams using tools such as Drawio or Visio. *Familiarity with automation tools for network deployment, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual tasks. Certifications: Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching. Job Description: Assessment of Existing LAN/WLAN: Conduct in-depth analysis of the current LAN/WLAN infrastructure landscape. Identify potential technical dependencies or risks with the current landscape. Network Diagram Preparation (Current): Create detailed network diagrams highlighting physical and logical topology of the current setup. Follow a neat and clean representation of LAN/WLAN components and connections in the diagram. Ensure diagrams are most updated in case any changes are identified. Endpoint analysis and identification: Comprehensively identify and document all connected devices on the existing LAN. Document configurations and dependencies of each endpoint. Prepare a detailed IP and VLAN mapping for endpoints for the target setup. Target BoM Preparation: Gather all the requirements needed to prepare a detailed Bill of Materials (BoM) for the target LAN/WLAN setup. Ensure the defined standards by customer for HW, License & support are followed. Network Diagram Preparation (Target): Create comprehensive target diagrams that align with the target BoM. Ensure the target design adheres strictly as per the defined standards by customer. Migration runbook preparation: Create a comprehensive migration runbook covering all the steps needed for migration. Identify site-specific technical use cases and mitigation steps to be considered during migration. Prepare the LAN config templates for each switch and access point, ensure the defined standard is followed. Perform pre-migration site acceptance tests of services before the migration.
