Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Network Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, monitor, and manage network infrastructure components including Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls, and Unifi/Mireka access points. Firewall Management: Implement and manage Fortinet firewall policies, VPN configurations, and security rules to protect the network from threats. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues related to switches, firewalls, access points, and overall connectivity. Provide 2nd level technical support for network-related incidents. Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of network devices and ensure optimal network operation through proactive management. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, topology, and security policies. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure network configurations meet operational requirements, security standards, and scalability for current and future needs. Upgrades & Patches: Implement software upgrades and patches for networking devices as needed to ensure the latest security standards and functionalities. Network Design Assistance: Assist in designing and planning new network segments, expansions, or infrastructure upgrades. User Support: Provide networking support for end-users, ensuring reliable and secure access to resources, especially related to network connectivity, Wi-Fi issues, and remote VPN access. Key Skills & Qualifications: Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, etc.) and hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers. Firewall Expertise: Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet Firewalls, including VPNs, traffic filtering, and security policy management. Access Points Management: Knowledge of Mireka and Unifi access point setups, configurations, and troubleshooting. Networking Tools: Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting utilities (e.g., Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute). Certification: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certifications preferred. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a methodical approach to network issue resolution.

Configure, manage, and maintain the organization's firewall and Prisma access infrastructure, including rule creation, modification, and deletion. Manage and maintain existing firewall infrastructure, including rule configuration, policy enforcement, and Prisma access service configurations. Monitor firewall logs and alerts from Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Prisma to identify potential security incidents and anomalies. Perform regular reviews of firewall rules to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with the best security practices. Assist in the implementation and management of VPN solutions for secure remote access. Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and their integration with logs from Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Prisma. Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), and Fortinet NSE certifications. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in managing and administering enterprise-level firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Prisma Access). Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security concepts, including cloud security principles and hardware lifecycle management. Hands-on experience with firewall rule configuration, object management, and security policy implementation on both Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls, familiarity with Prisma service configuration. Experience with VPN technologies, including integration with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, and Prisma Access.

About The Role Responsibilities ?¢ Administration and Management of Wipro LAN & WAN (Network Domain) across globe as a part of Global Network Project Implementation Team based on the Projects assigned. ?¢ Implementation and configuration of Network devices which consists of Routers, Switches, NMS Tools & Wifi Devices from different manufacturers (Mainly Cisco & some cases Avaya / Brocade, etc.). ?¢ Configure / Implement Network Devices as per the hardening Guidelines & as per particular Project requirement. ?¢ Troubleshoot Network & Security related problems in a particular Project based on the Project scope defined. ?¢ Implementation of Network Infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODC) with appropriate security levels and redundancy as per the ODC requirements. ?¢ Implementation of Network Infrastructure for new Enterprise Projects with appropriate security levels and redundancy. ?¢ Implement ODC setups with connectivity varying from MPLS Connectivity, Client to site VPN, Site to Site VPN (Router based). ?¢ Handle implementations in project movements within Wipro locations, Point to point link establishment, Network infra for new Wipro locations including LAN/WAN/Internet Architecture etc. ?¢ Coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN and other links for new implementations and troubleshooting connectivity issues. ?¢ Validating the technical feasibility of the network design plans for customer/Enterprise networks submitted by the design team and provide appropriate suggestions as required. ?¢ Knowledge & exposure on (not limited to) NMS Tools, Routing Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, etc., MPLS Configuration (VRF Config), Switching Protocols, STP, QoS, etc. ?¢ Execute the implementation per the standard ISO (20000 & 27001) and Wipro IRMC guidelines following incident, change and capacity management procedures followed in Wipro. ?¢ CCNP Equivalent Certifications with around 5 years?? experience. ?¢ Should be able to Multitask & involve in multiple projects at a time. ?¢ Take lead and participate in S0 calls and Outages till resolution ? ? ? ?
