As a member of the voice infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in responding to escalated incidents and driving them to resolution. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with various individuals and teams to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of any issues that arise. Utilizing Service Now, you will assist in ticket resolution for MAC or trouble requests. Your expertise will be essential in configuring, maintaining, and supporting various Cisco Unified Communication technologies, including Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco Emergency Responder (CER), Cisco Voice Gateways (VG), and Cisco Expressways. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues within the core voice infrastructure related to CUCM, CUC, CER, VG, and Session Border Controllers (SBCs). Additionally, you will be responsible for patching and upgrades to the SBCs as necessary. To excel in this role, you should have 6-8 years of experience in Telephony and a proven track record of supporting and operating large-scale enterprise networks. A college degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience is required, along with industry certifications such as CCNA and CCNP.
