A candidate with approximately 5-12 years of experience in application support, maintenance, and enhancements using Informix ESQL/C, C, and CISAM, as detailed below: Strong communication, negotiation skills, and interpersonal capabilities, including the ability to lead discussions between multiple teams and stakeholders and conclude them to a logical end. Strong in application program development using Informix ESQL/C and C language. Good understanding of the Unix operating system and Unix commands. Proficient in writing Unix shell scripts and Awk scripts. Knowledge of SCCS for source control and experience in setting up makefiles for application compilation and deployment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience in C language and CISAM for accessing and updating files. Hands-on experience in multithreading and fork programming in C language. Hands-on experience in programming to handle ISO 8583 and IFSF (International Forecourt Standards Forum) protocols. Ability to handle complex multi-tier systems and perform end-to-end design. Capability to manage tasks from designing applications to deployment on test and production servers.
