As a Senior Engineer in Highway Drainage, you'll have the opportunity to join our UK iCRC Roads team in Noida/Bengaluru. The role offers diverse opportunities for career progression, experience, training, and support in development. You will lead the development and delivery of highway and drainage projects through various design stages, from feasibility to planning, detailed design, and construction. Your responsibilities will include working on a variety of highway schemes related to highway drainage elements, independently producing highway engineering designs and construction drawings for UK schemes, actively participating in multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with internal clients, preparing fee proposals, contributing to recruitment, and financial control as a package manager. You will coordinate with other disciplines to ensure an integrated design, mentor junior team members, and ensure project delivery within budget, timeline, and technical standards. Key candidate attributes we seek beyond qualifications and experience include problem-solving skills, relationship-building abilities, and a drive for continuous improvement. You should have a good understanding and experience of UK highway drainage, technical competency in highway and stormwater drainage as per UK standards, proficiency in relevant design software, and the ability to communicate effectively. Travel within the UK may be required. Mandatory skills required for this role include: - Knowledge and experience in UK highway drainage - Technical competency in highway drainage and stormwater drainage according to UK standards - Preparation of methodologies, design basis statements, and technical notes related to highway drainage - Mentoring and providing technical support to CAD and engineers - Proficiency in relevant design software like Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, etc. - Familiarity with National Highways-UK common data environment - Leading and attending design review meetings with clients - Proficiency in standard MS Office software - Effective communication skills - Preparation of Development Drainage Strategies - Dealing with clients and building effective relationships Desired skills may include project management, financial tracking, highway drainage solutions, familiarity with DMRB and CIRIA standards, knowledge of UK legislation, quick validation of designs, and client interactions. Qualifications required for this role: - B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent with significant relevant experience - M.Tech in Hydraulics & Water Resources Engineering or equivalent preferred - Minimum of 6 years of experience in highway drainage and stormwater drainage.,
