Your responsibilities will include structural design of highway pavements, traffic analysis, and pavement design based on DMRB/AASHTO/Australian/ME design standards. You will be involved in the preparation of pavement plans, cross-sections, and construction details, as well as writing pavement construction specifications. Additionally, you will conduct pavement and geotechnical investigations, analyze factual data, and produce high-quality technical output. Assigning work to graduates and technicians, reporting performance regularly, communicating with counterparts, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams are also part of your role. Qualifications & Skills: - BE Degree in Civil Engineering/Post-Graduation in Transportation/Highway Engineering/Pavement Engineering - 8-10 years of experience in highway pavement design (preferably Global Design Center/Domestic experience) - Good knowledge of DMRB/AASHTO/Australian/ME Design codes for highway pavement design - Proficiency in mechanistic-empirical pavement design and pavement ME design software - Understanding of pavement materials, specifications, and highway design principles - Proficient in traffic analysis, pavement design, specifications, and pavement drawings - Familiarity with AutoCAD, Circly/AASHTOWare Pavement ME design software, ProjectWise, Civil 3D, and Open Roads (an advantage) - Flexibility in work tasks and locations At Jacobs, people are valued, and the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle ensures consistent delivery and exceeding client expectations.
