Ensure mould designs meet customer product requirements, tolerances, and production volumes. Review part design for mouldability and suggest improvements to product designers. Ensure adherence to GD&T and industry standards. Coordinate with toolmakers, machinists, and vendors during tool manufacturing. Support mould trials and resolve design-related issues. Maintain all design documents, revision history, and templates as per ISO/AS9100 or customer-specific requirements. Participate in customer meetings for technical discussions and approvals. Suggest design changes to improve tool life, reduce cycle time, and minimize production defects. REQUIRED SKILL: Expert-level Creo Parametric skills for 3D modelling and detailing. Proficiency in mould flow analysis tools (Moldex3D, Auto desk, Moldflow, etc.) preferred. Understanding of different mould types: 2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner, multi-cavity, insert moulds, etc. Familiarity with mould steels, heat treatment, and manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Strong knowledge of injection mould design principles and mould components. Certified training in Creo design tools is an advantage.
