Master data holds a pivotal role as a vital business asset, significantly influencing business performance and decision-making processes. Effective management and high-quality master data are essential for driving business outcomes, while inadequate control and low-quality data can result in increased costs and missed opportunities. Your role will involve applying data governance best practices in providing master data management services, ensuring the delivery, maintenance, and utilization of high-quality master data that drives business success. You will be tasked with the global delivery of master data management services, collaborating with ITS to implement systems, spearheading continuous improvement efforts, and promoting global standardization. The current focus encompasses various master data types, including product, customer, vendor, material, and finance. The scope is dynamic and may expand to include additional master data types based on identified business value. Your responsibilities will include supporting the business in effectively managing master data to uphold proper controls, ensuring high data quality, and optimizing process efficiency. This involves creating and maintaining master data records, administering workflow tools, conducting mass updates, validating data according to governance standards, performing data cleansing activities, and maintaining SOPs. Furthermore, you will provide support to address medium to high complexity master data issues, drive value creation through training initiatives, CI projects, and leveraging data insights, propose and lead process improvement projects, and work with ITS and business teams to implement new master data technologies. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, possess 4-8 years of Master Data management experience, and demonstrate proficiency in various tools and technologies such as Coupa, MDG, CI/LEAN, Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power BI, Power App, among others.
