Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. Your role and responsibilities As a Application Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients hybrid-cloud and AI journeys Your primary responsibilities include: Analyze and develop Mainframe z/OS applications using PLI/JCL/DB2/CICS, MQ, CICS Web services. Design, develop and maintain mainframe Pl1/CICS/Db2 applications. Participate in maintenance and On-call/on-duty as per the requirement of the Squad. Create documentation and procedures for maintenance. Build and maintain relationships with various squads and third parties on software development or support issues. Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards and processes. Interface with business and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them to formal technical requirements and application code. Responsible for end-to-end deliveries Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Mainframe Infrastructure administration RACF Administration DB2 & IMS DB Administration CICS Administration LPAR Performance Monitoring Preferred technical and professional experience Good exposure to CICS and Azure Devops Good interpersonal and communication skills to work in a global environment Mainframe Infrastructure administration

Responsibilities A day in the life of an Infoscion As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight. You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organizations financial guidelines Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
