As a Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake) at our new-age, AI-first Digital & Cloud Engineering Services company, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in building and scaling our data infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines for both ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. By collaborating with stakeholders, you will translate data requirements into efficient data models and pipelines to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines for ELT and ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Additionally, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and build optimized data pipelines using technologies such as Elastic Search, AWS S3, Snowflake, and NFS. You will also be responsible for implementing data warehouse schemas and ETL/ELT processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs, ensuring data integrity through data quality checks and monitoring. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focusing on ELT/ETL processes. You should have at least 3+ years of experience with Snowflake data warehousing technologies and creating/maintaining Airflow ETL pipelines. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation, as well as experience with Elastic Search, SQL, and cloud-based data storage solutions like AWS S3, are essential requirements. Moreover, staying updated with industry best practices, CI/CD/DevSecFinOps, Scrum, and emerging technologies in data engineering will be crucial. Your strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, will enable you to work effectively with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to ensure data accessibility and usability for various analytical purposes.
