You are an experienced SQL Developer with over 5 years of experience, particularly skilled in SSIS (ETL Developer). You will be joining a dynamic team in Hyderabad, working on building scalable and auditable ETL pipelines for a leading US-based banking client. Your role as an Individual Contributor (IC) will involve collaborating within Agile teams to meet sprint commitments and deliver high-quality solutions. Your main responsibilities will include designing and developing robust SSIS workflows based on business and data requirements, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or UCD, collaborating with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs and data governance standards, and maintaining and optimizing SQL/SSIS packages for production environments. To excel in this role, you must be an expert in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, and transactions. You should also have strong experience in designing, implementing, and debugging SSIS packages using components like script tasks, event handlers, and nested packages. Hands-on experience in managing high-volume batch data ingestion from various sources using SSIS is crucial, with a focus on performance and SLA considerations. Active participation in Agile/Scrum teams, stakeholder collaboration for requirement gathering, and excellent communication skills are essential for success. Nice-to-have skills include exposure to Cloud ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, familiarity with CI/CD deployment tools like Jenkins or UCD, understanding or integration experience with big data systems like Spark or Hadoop, and experience in querying and integrating data from other RDBMS platforms like Oracle or Teradata.
