As a Hardware Asset Management & CMDB Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of HAM and CMDB engagements, ensuring alignment with SLAs, KPIs, and service improvement initiatives. Your expertise in ServiceNow HAM and CMDB modules will be crucial in driving operational excellence in IT asset and configuration management. You will need to have a deep understanding of CMDB architecture, CI types, and dependency mapping, as well as experience in handling large-scale data integration and reconciliation tasks. Your responsibilities will include configuring robust Identification and Reconciliation rules to ensure reliable CMDB data integrity, monitoring CMDB health, and proactively resolving data conflicts between authoritative sources. You will define and maintain standard Configuration Items (CIs), CI relationships, and classification schemas in line with business needs. Developing and maintaining process documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks for HAM and CMDB will also be part of your role. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with Service Mapping and MID Server configuration, ability to write custom scripts within ServiceNow for automation and customization, background in ITIL practices and IT Service Management frameworks, and certification in ServiceNow CIS and Certified Asset Management Professional. Additionally, you will be expected to create and enhance application maps using ServiceNow Service Mapping, configure MID Servers for integrations and data synchronization, customize ServiceNow environments including scripting, automation, and module configuration, and design and manage reports and dashboards to support decision-making and transparency. Your role will also involve identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous service improvement, defining, improving, and managing periodic audit and verification processes for asset data, and conducting regular stakeholder engagements and cadence meetings to communicate status, issues, and opportunities. This is a full-time position with a fixed shift, night shift, or US shift schedule.
