The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer Senior - Development role at FIS should have a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and support the Risk Solution product using C++ and C#, as well as to design and implement integrations with other FIS products for financial institutions. You will be expected to design technical and functional solutions, ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and client focus. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design and develop high-performance solutions in C# .Net and C++, and engage in effective communication with business stakeholders and customers. You should have a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, hands-on experience with C# and C++, and knowledge of SQL queries and RDBMS concepts. Additionally, experience with debugging and profiling tools, as well as a passion for learning new developments, will be beneficial. The successful candidate should be a highly professional individual with a client-focused approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a global team. Experience with WCF, WWF, CI concepts, Agile Scrum, and exposure to Capital Markets or Investment banking domain would be considered as added bonuses.
