As a Business Development professional at Cygni Energy, you will be responsible for scaling the stationary storage business and contributing to India's decarbonization journey. Cygni Energy, a leading storage technology company incubated at the Incubation Cell of IIT Madras, specializes in EV and Energy Storage solutions. In this role, you will work towards establishing deep B2B partnerships with Solar & Wind EPC players to position Cygni as their preferred partner for storage solutions. Your key responsibilities will include sales planning, tenacious follow-up to achieve sales targets, disciplined tracking of leads, market analysis to identify new use cases for storage solutions, and collaborating with the Product Development and Marketing teams. You will be required to leverage your existing network of relationships in the renewable energy industry and demonstrate a strong technical understanding of products. Additionally, your ability to communicate effectively, negotiate deals, and exceed sales targets will be crucial for success in this role. The ideal candidate for this position will have an engineering background with an MBA or Masters in Engineering being a plus. You should have 8 to 10 years of experience in successfully winning and delivering solar projects, dealing with System Integrators and Renewable Energy EPC players, and a basic understanding of battery technologies. Your resourcefulness, communication skills, and deep understanding of the renewable energy industry will be essential for thriving in this role.,
