The role involves creating accurate and functional designs for metal furniture, staircases, railings, and grills, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and aesthetic appeal. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of metal furniture, stairs, grills, and related structures using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and material specifications in line with project requirements. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and practical for fabrication. Conduct structural calculations and load analysis where required (especially for stairs and heavy furniture). Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Optimize designs for material usage, welding, cutting, and bending processes to reduce costs and minimize waste. Coordinate with clients, architects, and project managers to understand requirements and propose design solutions. Support prototype development and assist in resolving design/fabrication challenges during production. Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and project records. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar). Knowledge of metal fabrication processes such as welding, bending, cutting, and finishing. Understanding of structural strength, material selection (MS, SS, Aluminum), and sheet metal design. Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and BOQs (Bill of Quantities). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in custom furniture, architectural metalwork, or fabrication industry preferred. Preferred Experience Designing metal furniture, architectural staircases, railings, and grills. Exposure to PVD coating, powder coating, and finishing techniques. Familiarity with laser cutting, CNC bending, and modern fabrication machinery.

Organize employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and skill development sessions. 3. Performance Management Implement performance appraisal systems. Monitor employee productivity and work discipline. Provide feedback and support managers in handling underperformance. 4. Compliance & Legal Ensure compliance with labor laws, ESI, PF, gratuity, and other statutory requirements. Maintain employee records, contracts, and attendance systems.
