The role involves supporting engineering projects related to injection molding, digital printing, and tooling development by facilitating communication between Indian and Chinese teams. As a Chinese Interpreter, your responsibilities will include translating discussions during tooling reviews, mold trials, printer setup, QA escalations, and production optimizations. You will be required to translate technical concepts such as DFM, BOMs, mold drawings, CAD comments, cycle time tuning, and SOP walkthroughs. Additionally, you will need to liaise with Chinese suppliers through various communication channels to ensure clear and precise communication for sample approvals, design iterations, and equipment debugging. You will also be expected to accompany Chinese engineers/technicians during on-ground installations or audits, assisting Indian engineers in articulating problems, changes, and decisions clearly. Reviewing and interpreting technical documents from Mandarin to English or Hindi, supporting cross-functional coordination, logistics discussions, pricing clarifications, and after-sales service escalation are also part of the role. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in technical interpretation within engineering or manufacturing companies. Certification in Chinese language proficiency (HSK Level 4 or above) is mandatory. Previous experience working with or for Chinese companies operating in India in tooling, production, or equipment coordination roles is preferred. Fluency in Mandarin (spoken + written) and English is required, with Hindi being a bonus. Familiarity with engineering vocabulary across various domains, experience with communication tools, and a clear and calm communication style are essential for this role. This is a full-time on-site position in Faridabad, with occasional local travel required.
