Role Overview: You are sought after as a qualified and empathetic Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to become a part of our dynamic team at Children First. The ideal candidate should possess clinical expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry and demonstrate a strong interest in collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive, holistic psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and their ecosystems. - Develop and implement individualized, child-focused intervention plans while maintaining a systemic outlook. - Provide psychopharmacological management and continual medication monitoring. - Collaborate closely with psychologists, therapists, schools, communities, and caregivers to ensure integrated care. - Engage in psychoeducation and parenting support to aid treatment goals. - Participate in case discussions, clinical team meetings, and peer supervision sessions. - Offer crisis intervention and contribute to safety planning when necessary. - Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards. - Contribute to in-house training, clinical audits, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Qualifications Required: - MBBS, MD (Psychiatry). - Minimum of one year of experience working in a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) unit. - Exposure to multidisciplinary team settings for at least one year. - Based in or willing to relocate to Delhi-NCR. Clinical Skills and Experience: - Essential: - MBBS, MD (Psychiatry). - Minimum one year's experience in a dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) unit. - Exposure to multidisciplinary team settings for at least one year. - Based in or willing to relocate to Delhi-NCR. - Desirable: - 2+ years of experience (Desirable experience: 2-5 years, post MD). - Open to working in a neurodiversity-affirming and gender-inclusive clinical environment. - Completed thesis or academic work in a CAP-related field (e.g., developmental disorders, adolescent mental health). - Certification in CAP-relevant clinical skills or interventions. - Strong understanding of developmental, behavioral, and emotional disorders. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience working in schools, NGOs, or community-based mental health initiatives. - Familiarity with neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD, ASD, and learning disabilities. - Training in trauma-informed care or systemic family work. - Multilingual abilities will be an asset- English and Hindi fluency is desirable.
