Role Overview: As a member of Visa's Technology Organization, you will be part of a collaborative community of problem solvers and innovators dedicated to reshaping the future of commerce. You will play a key role in driving the architecture for cross-team and cross-product development projects, establishing software development patterns and best practices, and ensuring alignment with platform principles and standards. Your contributions will help optimize the use of Visa's Platforms & Solutions and drive key GenAI initiatives for developer productivity and product innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the architecture for key cross-team/cross-product development projects through architecture/design documents and developing code key modules - Establish software development patterns and best practices, ensuring all relevant project teams follow common principles and patterns - Provide leadership across the engineering community, mentoring and building world-class high-performing engineering teams - Apply architecture best practices to increase execution velocity and develop inherently secure, robust, scalable, modular, API-centric, and global architectures - Influence technology selection for the enterprise and define deployment topology by collaborating with peers across the technology organization - Optimize the use of Visa's Platforms & Solutions and contribute to other key Visa initiatives - Demonstrate thought leadership through presentations and teaching across Visa Qualifications Required: Basic Qualifications: - 12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree, or at least 9 years of work experience with an Advanced degree, or 6 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: - 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelors Degree, or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, PhD with 9+ years of experience - Experience in Java language, Spring, Hibernate, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and HTML5/CSS3 - Expertise in web service standards and related patterns (REST, gRPC) - Advanced knowledge of AI/Generative AI/Data Science - Proven knowledge of design, architecture, and development of Shared Services and framework including Microservices, Container Technologies, Caching, API gateway, and Security - Deep understanding of different integration patterns" benefits/drawbacks - Experience in continuous delivery and DevOps - infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, auditing, and security implementation and practices,
