Role & responsibilities

• Developing and Implementing Security Strategies:

  This involves creating comprehensive security plans that align with the hospital's goals and address potential risks.

• Overseeing Security Operations:

  Managing daily security operations, including physical security measures like access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response.

• Conducting Risk Assessments and Audits:

  Identifying vulnerabilities and potential threats to the hospital's assets and personnel, and developing mitigation strategies.

• Managing Incident Response:

  Leading the response to security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, and minimizing the impact of security breaches.

• Developing and Enforcing Policies:

  Creating and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment.

• Collaborating with Other Departments:

  Working with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to integrate security into all aspects of the hospital's operations.

• Leading and Mentoring Security Staff:

  Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to the security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance.

• Staying Updated on Security Trends:

  Keeping abreast of the latest security threats, technologies, and regulations to ensure the hospital's security posture remains current and effective.

• Managing Cybersecurity:

  Overseeing the hospital's information security, including data protection, access control, and incident response.

• Ensuring Compliance:

  Ensuring the hospital complies with all relevant security regulations and standards.
