Chief Reels Officer

As an experienced candidate, you have the opportunity to take our Shorts & Reels content from 0 to multi-million followers and establish it as a repeatable growth engine for our apps. Your responsibilities will include: - Owning YouTube Shorts + Insta Reels end-to-end: from generating ideas and scripts to editing, posting, and continuous iteration. - Building a small but efficient team of writers, editors, and thumbnail/cover creators and managing them like a product team. - Monitoring and analyzing various metrics daily, such as Shares per 100 views, Swipe Through Rate (STR), Average Plays per Viewer (APV), Retention graph, follow rate, saves, and comments. - Conducting ruthless experiments on Hooks & the first 13 seconds, eliminating strategies that do not improve metrics and focusing on those that do. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following non-negotiable criteria: - Have successfully grown at least one Shorts/Reels account from 0 to 1M+ followers. - Possess in-depth knowledge of video metrics such as shares, STR, APV, retention, and follow rate, and understand the reasons behind their success. - Demonstrate the ability to quickly rewrite hooks, provide precise feedback on cuts, pacing, and text, and execute multiple experiments daily with efficiency. - Thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and take ownership of your tasks.
