Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Provide vision and leadership to align nursing objectives with the group's mission and clinical excellence goals.
  • Establish and standardize nursing governance structures across all unit hospitals.
  • Mentor and develop Nursing Superintendents and unit-level nursing leaders to strengthen leadership capacity and accountability.
  • Oversee recruitment, deployment, and retention strategies for nursing staff across all units.

Quality & Patient Care Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to NABH and statutory standards through evidence-based nursing practices.
  • Monitor key nursing performance indicators (KPI), including infection rates, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
  • Lead nursing readiness for accreditation audits, medico-legal cases, and emergency preparedness.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in nursing services.

  • Formulate and implement group-wide nursing policies, SOPs, and clinical practice guidelines.
  • Standardize nurse-patient ratios, duty rosters, and skill-mix utilization across hospitals.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with documentation standards, HIS systems, and digital workflow initiatives.

  • Develop and manage the annual nursing budget for all units.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and material resources to maintain service quality within budgetary limits.
  • Support cost-effective procurement and deployment of nursing equipment and consumables.

  • Foster effective interdisciplinary coordination among Nursing, Medical, Operations, and Quality departments.
  • Serve as the principal liaison between nursing teams and hospital administration, ensuring representation of nursing perspectives in management decisions.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional ethics across all levels.

6.

  • Drive competency-based training programs, CNE sessions, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Encourage and facilitate nursing research and the adoption of evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Partner with HR and academic institutions to design nursing education programs and internship collaborations.

7.

  • Represent Livasa Hospitals in nursing forums, academic partnerships, and community health initiatives.
  • Build relationships with nursing councils, universities, and professional bodies to enhance institutional reputation and talent pipeline.

Key Job Specification

  • 1520 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing, including at least 5 years in a senior management role within a multi-specialty hospital or hospital group.
  • Sound knowledge of nursing administration, hospital operations, and healthcare accreditation frameworks (NABH preferred).
