Make decisive, timely judgments on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection, upholding high standards of rigor, transparency, and ethics Collaborate with Cureus editorial office, and Springer Nature content innovation department to leverage advanced AI tools and ensure a rapid, fair, and author-centric publishing process Continuously evaluate and refine editorial workflows, integrating new AI capabilities while maintaining the crucial oversight of human editors Innovation and Content Development Champion and pilot innovative publishing models AI-assisted submissions, interactive content, data publishing, and transparent peer review Experiment with content formats and policies reflecting the evolving landscape of AI-enabled authorship and collaborative science Guide the responsible integration of AI in processes such as ethical compliance checks, reviewer matching, and bias mitigation
