Requisites: ✅ Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering or a related field Teaching certifications such as PGCE / B.Ed. / IB Educator Certificates are an added advantage Exposure to Cambridge IGCSE / AS & A Level / IB MYP / IBDP Mathematics curricula is highly desirable ✅ Experience: 2–5+ years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting with IGCSE / IBDP cohorts ✅ Skills & Competencies: Strong subject expertise in Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and/or Higher-Level IBDP Math Proficiency in concept-based pedagogy and designing inquiry-driven, real-world problem-solving lessons Ability to integrate technology (graphing software, GeoGebra, Desmos, CAS calculators, digital platforms) into teaching and assessments Effective in fostering analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and mathematical creativity in learners Collaborative mindset with openness to interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular learning Strong classroom management, differentiation strategies, and interpersonal communication skills Passion for inspiring students to appreciate mathematics beyond academics ✅ Additional Desirables: Experience in facilitating math clubs, Olympiad training, or inquiry-based research projects Familiarity with extended essays, internal assessments, and mathematical explorations in IBDP Willingness to engage in professional development, curriculum workshops, and continuous learning ✅ Key Responsibilities: 🌍 Deliver engaging and rigorous Mathematics instruction across IGCSE / IBDP grade levels 📚 Design well-structured lesson plans , inquiry-based tasks, and differentiated assessments aligned with international standards 🎯 Provide timely, constructive, and personalized feedback to enhance student progress and mastery 🧮 Facilitate problem-solving workshops, math labs, and interdisciplinary projects that encourage curiosity and critical thinking 🎓 Mentor students for IGCSE/IBDP examinations, math competitions, and higher-order applications of mathematics 💡 Create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom culture that nurtures confidence in mathematical thinking 📖 Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, and collaborative departmental initiatives
