Chemist – Certified Laboratory Reagent Preparation

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering (mandatory). • Master’s degree (MSc) in Analytical/Industrial Chemistry (preferred). • Hands-on experience in reagent preparation, standardization, and analytical validation. • Knowledge of ISO 17025 / ISO 17034 accreditation requirements. • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and standardize certified laboratory reagents and reference solutions. • Perform analytical validation using volumetric, gravimetric, and instrumental techniques (e.g., ICP-OES/MS, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC). • Ensure traceability to certified reference materials (CRMs). • Document all processes, calculations, and results according to ISO and GLP standards. • Issue Certificates of Analysis (CoA) with uncertainty and traceability information. • Work under cleanroom or contamination-controlled environments for ultra-pure reagent preparation. • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month

Experience:

• reagent preparation: 5 years (Preferred)
• analytical validation: 5 years (Preferred)
• ISO 17025 / ISO 17034 accreditation: 3 years (Preferred)
