Job Description: You will be responsible for conducting QC tests of raw materials, semi-finished & finished products in the fertilizer/chemical industries. Additionally, you will work on improving existing products to reduce costs, enhance performance, or simplify manufacturing processes. Your role will involve accurately recording data as per guidelines, staying updated with production and technical advancements, and assisting the Head Chemist in planning and executing laboratory tests. You will conduct chemical experiments under the guidance of the Head Chemist, document test procedures and results, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory. Furthermore, you will coordinate, plan, and perform daily laboratory functions, analyze root causes of issues, propose corrective actions, develop or refine test analytical methods to ensure quality and consistency, and identify new equipment needs for Supervisor's consideration.
