Ideally, you should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience working with at least one of the firewall platforms mentioned above. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, maintaining, and decommissioning Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewalls, as well as working with Hardware Appliance and Virtual Firewalls in hybrid public cloud environments. Knowledge of BGP/OSPF routing protocols is essential, along with the ability to analyze network traffic on firewalls and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
