Role Overview We are looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) with strong expertise in AI system development, Python, and scalable architectures . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in building secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions, with hands-on work in AI-driven systems. You will play a key role in building and optimizing Checkmed’s healthcare platform, ensuring our services are powered by robust, secure, and intelligent systems . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven systems and features , from prototype to production. Build scalable and secure microservices architectures for healthcare workflows. Develop robust authentication and authorization systems to ensure privacy and compliance. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in Python and Node.js. Work with relational and vector databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Pinecone) to build intelligent and performant solutions. Collaborate with product, AI, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Ensure system designs prioritize security, privacy, and scalability at every stage. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 2 years of professional development experience . Strong expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, LangChain . Proficiency in Node.js for backend development. Experience with databases like PostgreSQL and vector databases like Pinecone . Knowledge of AI/ML system design and deployment . Proven experience in scalable architecture design and microservices . Strong understanding of secure coding practices and authentication systems . Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Hands-on with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
