The role requires you to perform the following tasks on a daily basis: Daily rounds and thorough checks of all equipment to ensure proper functioning. You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory list of all equipment. Designing, developing, testing, and modifying products, equipment, and devices. Additionally, you will be expected to write reports and maintain proper documentation of your work. Maintenance of equipment is a crucial part of the role to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for conducting impact training sessions for paramedic staff on the proper handling and uses of equipment. Before leaving the hospital premises, you must conduct a thorough check of all equipment to ensure everything is in order. Budgeting and procurement of equipment will also be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining checklists related to biomedical equipment and evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment are integral aspects of the role. Supervising the work of Junior Biomedical Engineers will be part of your duties. Additionally, sending a daily report on your work activities to the QM Cum MO with a copy marked to COO is required. Other duties as assigned by the management should also be carried out efficiently. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as paid sick time and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift. Applicants must have a Diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The expected start date for this position is 05/05/2025.
