Key duties include using diagnostic tools to identify issues, replacing faulty parts, documenting work, ensuring safety, and communicating with customers about necessary repairs and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Utilizing diagnostic tools and computer software to pinpoint mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines and their components. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and tire rotations to keep equipment running smoothly. Repairs: Repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other mechanical components. Record Keeping: Documenting all maintenance and repair work in detail for future reference and to maintain client records. Customer Communication: Explaining technical issues to vehicle owners in understandable terms and discussing the work performed.
