Responsibility: The major responsibilities of this role are: Ensure smooth functioning of the department and ensuring timely & proper accountability of materials. Receive materials against Purchase Orders/supplier challans and verify for correct quantity and quality Prepare GRN for material receipts in stores ERP system. Arrange for inspection and move accepted items to its designated locations Proper handling and safe custody of stock items Issue of materials to user departments and enter the same in system Return of rejected materials to vendors for replacement Arrange for timely re-ordering of general items stocks Co-ordination with Purchase/Production/QC and other user departments Preparation of Job Work challan and its accounting in the system.
