Company Description Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), established by the Government of Haryana on April 2, 2003, is named after the former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Devi Lal. Located in Sirsa, the university spans 280 acres and is approximately 256 km from Delhi and 285 km from Chandigarh. CDLU has 24 academic departments offering 21 career-oriented and specialized courses. Additionally, the university provides job-oriented courses through distance education. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor at CDLU, located in Jind. The Professor will be responsible for planning and delivering lectures, conducting research, guiding students in their academic and research activities, and participating in departmental activities. The role also involves preparing course materials, evaluating student performance, and contributing to curriculum development. Qualifications Expertise in subject matter, including in-depth knowledge and the ability to teach a wide range of courses in the relevant field Experience in research and publication, including a strong track record of scholarly articles, books, or papers Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students Administrative and organizational skills for managing course planning, student assessments, and departmental responsibilities Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in the relevant field Prior teaching experience in a similar academic setting is beneficial
