Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Data Science to join our AI and NLP engineering team. This role is critical to building scalable, intelligent systems leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP frameworks, and speech technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable NLP pipelines for various healthcare applications. Integrate and fine-tune LLMs (OpenAI, open-source) with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks like LangChain. Build and deploy APIs for conversational agents, chatbots, and AI-driven interfaces. Implement Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) services using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC to deliver AI capabilities within our healthcare platform. Apply DevOps/MLOps practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and model lifecycle management. Mentor junior engineers and guide implementation across teams. Acquire and apply functional knowledge of the US healthcare system and Payer business processes. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in NLP engineering. Strong coding proficiency in Python, particularly for NLP and AI/ML tasks. Hands-on experience with spaCy, NLTK, or similar NLP frameworks. Proven experience working with LLMs, LangChain, or RAG-based architectures.
