Job Description

As a Mechanical/Automobile Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for the following: - Sound knowledge in pneumatic brake system, including brake system components selection, pneumatic circuits, air pressure requirements, vehicle aggregates relations with brake system, and creation of tubes routing. - Proficiency in CATIA for 3D model preparation using modules like part design SMD, GSD, assembly, and drawings. - Understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in sheet metal and pneumatic tubes. - Demonstrated interpersonal skills, excellent communication, presentation abilities, and a strong team player. - Familiarity with homologations standards related to brake systems and product development cycles. - Managing and coordinating activities with cross-functional teams and suppliers for serial changes and within projects. - Ability to generate design documentation in PLM and bill of materials, and work in a CFT to support project teams. - Flexibility for international travel, for example, up to 3 months. Additional Skills: - Working experience in PLM systems like Windchill or OAS. - Proficiency in VBA, CATIA macros, and programming. - Basic knowledge of brake system testing parameters and design quality processes. - Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to perform tolerance stack-up calculations.
