As an Assistant Accountant at YA FOODS, you will be responsible for managing all accounts-related tasks and activities of the Accounts Department. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in handling accounting tasks and roles, demonstrating familiarity with relevant areas. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining complete books of accounts, working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals. You will be accountable for recording and filing cash transactions, monitoring daily communications, and addressing any related queries. Additionally, you will play a vital role in controlling credit, chasing debt, processing invoices, and maintaining procedural documentation. Furthermore, you will be tasked with processing expense requests for the accountant's approval, conducting bank reconciliations, overseeing general ledger and sales journal upkeep, and updating them as necessary. Your role will involve preparing statutory accounts and coordinating with auditors for auditing-related tasks. The location of this position is near Hopes College, Coimbatore-04, with a negotiable salary. To qualify for this role, you should hold a post-graduation degree in M.Com or a related field, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tally ERP. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as strong organizational and time management abilities. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality, being detail-oriented, and effectively prioritizing tasks are also crucial for this role. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and a yearly bonus. The work schedule is in the morning shift, and a Master's degree is preferred for education qualifications. Candidates with 3 years of experience in accounting and Tally certification are preferred for this role. The work location is in-person.
