Chartered Accountant

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including preparing monthly MISs to meet internal and external reporting requirements and financial statements. You will coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for quarterly audits and monitor and analyze accounting data. It will be your duty to establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Additionally, you will provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures, as well as initiate corrective actions. Assigning projects and directing team members to ensure compliance and accuracy will be part of your role, along with meeting financial accounting objectives and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation. Monitoring emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability will also be crucial. Moreover, you will be expected to develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams. The ideal candidate for this position should be a Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in NBFCs or the banking sector. Good communication skills, the ability to handle a team, knowledge of Indian Accounting standards, and proficiency in MS Excel are essential skills required for this role.
