Chartered Accountant- GST

You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 12 years of specialized experience in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and are sought to join our Indirect Tax team. Your primary responsibilities will include advising clients, managing compliance, handling litigation, and supporting strategic tax structuring mandates. Your main duties will revolve around GST compliance, which involves reviewing and ensuring the timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns (GSTR-9/9C), and reconciliations. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing e-invoicing and e-way bill implementation and compliance. In the realm of GST advisory, you will interpret GST laws and offer practical tax advice to clients concerning business operations, transactions, and supply chain impacts. Your role will also entail evaluating tax positions and identifying planning opportunities. When it comes to GST litigation and representation, you will be responsible for drafting replies to show cause notices (SCNs), departmental queries, audit notices, and appeal memos. Furthermore, you will represent clients before GST officers and assist with litigation matters up to the Commissioner (Appeals)/Tribunal level. Client servicing is another crucial aspect of your role, wherein you will act as the primary point of contact for clients on indirect tax matters. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and delivery. Staying abreast of GST law amendments, circulars, case laws, and rulings is essential. You will also assist in preparing internal knowledge notes and client alerts to keep stakeholders informed. The ideal candidate for this position is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with a 12-year post-qualification background in GST. You should possess a strong understanding of GST laws, rules, and procedural aspects, along with excellent drafting, analytical, research, interpersonal, and communication skills.,
