Develop precise voltage regulation, over-voltage, and under-voltage protection mechanisms, along with current limiting and thermal shutdown features. Design and optimize EMI/EMC mitigation strategies, including layout techniques, passive filtering, and shielding for robust performance in electrically noisy environments. Component Specification & Integration: Select and qualify critical components (capacitors, resistors, semiconductors) ensuring adherence to electrical and thermal ratings, reliability, and cost constraints. Develop power distribution architectures that include advanced converters, rectifiers, and isolation modules tailored for rapid charging applications. Design Documentation & Collaboration: Produce comprehensive design documentation including schematics, layout files, and component specifications for review and integration into system-level designs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical design, firmware, system architecture) to ensure seamless integration of the hardware design into the overall charging solution. Ensure optimal uptime, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction for all charging stations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end operations of EV charging stations across Chennai. Monitor charging station uptime and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance. Select and configure appropriate charger specifications (CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB/T, Pantograph,etc.). Generate detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load flow analysis, and integration plans with grid/solar/BESS. 2. System Integration: Define communication protocols and integration architecture (OCPP, Modbus TCP/IP, CAN).
