As an engineer specializing in lithium-ion battery systems, your primary focus will be on integrating Battery Management Systems (BMS), conducting charger testing, and validating protocols. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the robust performance, safety, and compliance of the systems with international standards. Your responsibilities will include integrating BMS with high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs, collaborating with vehicle control units, and conducting system-level testing to ensure accuracy in State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) metrics. You will also be responsible for evaluating thermal behavior, fault detection, and protection strategies. Documenting test plans, test cases, and generating detailed validation reports will be essential for internal and regulatory purposes. Collaboration with software, hardware, and compliance teams will be key to resolving integration issues and enhancing system reliability. You should possess a strong analytical approach to troubleshoot system failures encountered during integration and field testing. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering and have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with lithium-ion BMS systems and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) testing. Proficiency in CAN communication analysis, diagnostic protocols such as UDS and OBD, and charging standards like IEC 61851 and ISO 15118 is crucial. A deep understanding of high-voltage safety practices, cell balancing techniques, thermal management, and battery protection logic will be necessary for success in this position.,

Role & responsibilities System Configuration & Setup: Manage the installation and setup of Charging Management Systems (CMS) to integrate with EV charging stations. Ensure proper configuration of the system, including user management, pricing models, and load balancing. Monitor charging station performance and operational status through the CMS. Generate real-time and periodic reports on charging station usage, efficiency, energy consumption, and fault detection. Proactively identify issues or inefficiencies in the charging system and resolve them. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical problems with the charging stations or the CMS platform. Work with third-party vendors or internal teams to resolve issues related to charging hardware or software. Provide technical support to end-users (fleet operators, individual EV drivers, etc.) regarding the CMS, charging station operation, and payment services. Manage customer escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. System Optimization: Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of charging operations and reduce downtime through CMS analytics. Implement load balancing and dynamic charging optimization to reduce energy costs and improve charging speeds. Integrate CMS with other energy management systems (e.g., solar, battery storage, etc.) and ensure proper communication between systems. Plan and execute the expansion of CMS as new charging stations are installed. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields. 3+ years of experience working with Charging Management Systems or similar energy management platforms. Familiarity with EV charging protocols such as OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) is a strong advantage. Experience with cloud-based CMS platforms and data monitoring tools. Knowledge of network infrastructure, IoT systems, and API integration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
