The position is based in Bangalore and falls under the Risk & Data Science team at Zype. As a member of the team, your responsibilities will include: - Designing rule-based + ML-driven fraud detection systems to minimize false positives & false negatives - Implementing device intelligence, geo-location tracking, and biometric authentication to enhance fraud prevention - Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate fraud detection APIs into UPI systems - Developing machine learning models for fraud pattern recognition and graph analytics models for fraud detection - Implementing real-time anomaly detection for transaction velocity, value, and geolocation mismatches - Working with regulatory bodies and banking partners to ensure compliance with UPI fraud monitoring regulations - Designing AI-driven chargeback prediction models and automating dispute resolution workflows - Leading and mentoring a team of fraud analysts, data scientists, and risk engineers - Staying abreast of global fraud trends, AI-driven fraud strategies, and regulatory changes The ideal candidate should possess: - Strong technical proficiency in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques - Programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis - Analytical thinking to solve complex problems and derive insights from large datasets - Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills - Domain knowledge in BNPL credit risk - Attention to detail in model building and result delivery The candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
