You will be joining our R&D team as a Simulation Engineer. Your primary responsibility will involve performing various machining simulations like drilling, milling, and structural analysis of cutting tools using FEA tools. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the design, optimization, and performance evaluation of cutting tools. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in metal cutting and simulation techniques, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and strong communication skills to effectively interpret and present results. Your tasks will include conducting FEA simulations, analyzing cutting tool geometry, performing CNC machining simulations, calculating machining forces, and optimizing cutting parameters using tools like Numroto. You will also be required to measure cutting tool geometry, micro-geometries, and surface roughness with tools such as Alicona. Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD tool (e.g., SolidWorks or NX) and the ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings will be essential. You will execute and validate critical geometrical parameters of cutting tools through finite element analysis and experimental trials, preparing detailed reports and documentation of results, key findings, and project outcomes. A strong knowledge of cutting tool materials, surface treatments, and characterization instruments will be advantageous. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology, along with 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience.
