Characterization Engineer

As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the Engineering Group involved in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing cutting-edge electronic systems, circuits, and mechanical systems. Your role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop solutions meeting performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop test strategies and execute Bench characterization for LPDDR & PCDDR Subsystem components and High-Speed IO interfaces - Drive first Silicon debug, evaluate semiconductor fabrication processes, and perform failure analysis for design issues - Work with global teams in a time-critical environment - Utilize Bench instruments like oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and logic analyzers - Write and debug test code using languages such as C, C#, or Python - Proficiency in CAD software like Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro will be a plus Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field - Relevant work experience in Electronics engineering - Solid understanding of DDR and High-Speed IO circuit analysis techniques - Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes - Hands-on experience with Bench instruments - Proficiency in writing and debugging test code using C, C#, or Python - Knowledge of CAD software such as Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written If you are interested in this opportunity at Qualcomm, you can contact Qualcomm Careers for more information.,
