Previous experience in bench level IP bring-up, debugging, functional validation, characterisation, developing Bare metal bench tests, and providing manufacturing support is preferred. Proficiency in Schematic/Layout reading, Board level hardware debug is advantageous. Knowledge of USB Power Delivery electrical requirements and Type-C alternate modes such as DisplayPort over USB-C is a plus.
